As the Valuing of Wool under the Government's scheme has to bo done so carefully that a much longer time is required to ensure justice being clone than under the usual method of disposal, the Woolbrokers and Valuers deem it necessary to make the following Arrangements to Enable the Wool to be Properly Handled, and for the Fair and Smooth Working 1 of tba VALUATIONS will Commence in Dunodin on the Bth JANUARY. 22nd JANUARY, sth FEBRUARY, 19th FEBRUARY. sth MARCH, 19th MARCH, and 2nd APRIL, and thereafter FORTNIGHTLY, if the quantify available wan-ants it. The Brokers will, in the aggregate, be limited to 1500 lots per 'valuation, and theso lots will in the- meantime be portioned cub amongst the Brokers in accordance with their sales of wool last season. As far as possible, clips will bo offered in the order of complete arrival, but growers are requested not to rush their wools in if they can conveniently delay deliveries, as the-extra handling and room required ;s a vastly increased quantity under the scheme, while shipping space promises to be shorter than ever. The Brokers feel sure that the growers will extend every consideration to them inl assisting to make the scheme work satisfactorily, and that, they will exhibit a reasonable amount of patience and forbearance in all the circumstances.
