PRODUCTION OF WHEAT
SITTING OF BOARD OF TRADE. CIIRISTCHURCH, December 21. The Board of Trade concluded its sitting this afternoon, when the evidence of millers, bakers, farmers, and expert wheat growers was taken in connection with the problem of providing flour and bread for the population of the dominion in the future. The board considers it will have its report ready by the end of the week, and it is anticipated that it" will be referred to the Cabinet at an early date, because it is recognised that a decision one way or the other has to be arrived at without delay, to enable farmers to make all necessary arrangements for tilling the ground and sowing their autumn crops of wheat.
