(From Otm Own Correspondent.) December 13. J. W. Lovvo loaves for Auckland on Saturday with Seadovvn, Uhakwana, Menelaus, and Ayah, a useful team that should pick up a race. The Trentham-trained two-year-olds Association and Sweet Singer wire engaged at the Manawatu and Wairarapa meetings. They have been suffering from colds, and will not'racq during the holidays. Tho "Highdcn" thrcc-venr-old Wapping, bv Advance —Betsy, ran two good races at Woodville. Ho has sincr been disposed of to Mr 11. M. Campbell, and should get on the winning list during the holidays.

Most of tho Trontham-trained horses will be seen out at the Manawatu and Waitho winning list during tho holidays. Tin; stakes offering at New Year urc good. Square Deal has been entered at Marton, Stratford, and Wairarapa. llcwi i'oto is only engaged at Stratford. He is showing improved form this season. Mr George Morse, the weil-known handicappor, has been laid up sine© the Auckland spring meeting. He is getting all right again, and will be in his usual place at Ellerslie on Boxing Day. Devotion is nearly all right again, and will be seen out at Manawatu and Wairarapa. Mr Bidwill has never won the Wairarapa Cup, although he has owned some good horses. Tho Trontham-trained hurdlers Prince Delaware and The Golfer have been engaged at tho New Plymouth mooting at Christmas. Tho Victorian gelding is better than generally thought. He has won the first two flat races ho started in.

The Otaki trainers F. Iliggott and D Webster are going to tho Coast with Hy latus. Martial Air. Amity, and Pradnmante, C. Monk will go down and do tho riding.
