LONDON RABBITSKIN SALE.

The National Mortgage and Agency Co. report under date, London, October 20: " Tho fifth series of public rabbitskin sales was held on tho 27th ult.,_ when 727 bales New Zealand and Australian wore offered and 693 bales sold under tho hammer. The very small offerings available attracted keen competition from Homo and export trades, and values show a further advance of about 2d per lb on average. Furriers supported all fair to good season skins. " New Zealand.—Four hundred and five bales offered and 375 sold. The few bales of good winter bkins offered realised 3 to 4d per lb advance. Fair to good season's skins gained about 3d per lb. Middling and low season ; and greasy mav be quoted fully lid to 2d per lb dearer. Black "and silvery wero barely represented "Australian and Tasmanian.—Three hundred and twenty-two bales offered and 318 sold. Theso collections were comprised chiefly of off-season descriptions.
