SUNDAY GOLF.
WELLINGTON, December 11
Judgment was given to-day by Mr M'Carthy, S.M., in a case* brought to test the validity of a city by-law prohibiting the playing of golf on tho Town Beit on Sundays. The magistrate held that tho by-law was- bad for its unreasonableness, on tho ground that it wag an unnecessary interference with tho right of private judgment.
