ALLEGED SHEEP-STEALING.
MAKTON, December 5. In the Police Court to-day Charles L. Kreegher, of Kakariki, was committed for trial in the Supremo Court at Palmerston North on a charge of stealing 86 Itomnoy ewos, in lamb, the property of the trustees of the Westoe Estate. Bail was allowed—accused in £IOO and two sureties of £IOO each. Accused's brother is also awaiting trial »n a similar indictment.
