ANNUAL HORSE SHOW. Considerable interest is being manifested this year in th© annual horse show of the Otngo A. and P. Society, which will bo held at Tahuna Park on Thursday. In the aged Clydesdale stallion class 21 entries of the best quality have been made, and keen competition is assured. In the three-year-old class throe horses will compete, and in the two-year-old class three exhibitors' horses will try conclusions. Al-

though the number of horses entered in the Clydesdale classes is considerably less than last year's, as was the case in Christchurch, the quality exhibited will be of the highest, and competition is sure to be keen. In the classes for carriage, hackney, trotting, thoroughbred, and pony stallions, the entries are also fewer than those of last year, but the best animals of the province will try conclusions in the show ring. For the 50-guinea Clydesdale Plorso Society's Wright, Stephenson challenge cup 12 entries have been received. For this cup Messrs Snowball, Kerrigan, and Blair, M.R.C.V.S., will examine the horses at the Otago Farmers' Co-operative Association's horse bazaar on Wednesday morning. The judging of the horses will be commenced at Tahuna Park punctually at 11 a.m. on Thursday. The exhibit numbers of the horses will bo handed to the men in charge at the gates at Tahuna Park, and no animal will bo admitted without a ticket.
