THE BLACK SEA.
PETROGRAD, June 23. A communique states : Our torpedo-boats sank five large sailing ships and some smaller ves.cls in the Black Sea The steamer Mercury, with 800 passengers, struck a mine near Odessa, and sank in five minutes. The majority of those on board were saved.
