DAYLIGHT SAVING.
WELLINGTON, June 24. A deputation waited on the Prime Minister to-day to urge the necessity of introducing a Daylight. Saving Bill. It was urged by the deputation that the principle of daylight saving was one of practical politics, end that it was important for the Government unci the people to do all they could to increase production. Mr Massey, in reply, said the present session was primarily a war one, and other legislation would have to be of extreme importance to warrant special attention. Ho promised to bring the matter before the Cabinet, probably on Monday.
