MANUFACTURE OF RENNET.
COMPANY FORMED AT PALMERSTON NORTH. PALMERSTON N., Juno. 20. The annui'.l meeting of tho National Dairy Association Company decided to-day to form a company for the manufacture of rennet in New Zealand, tho capital to bo £20,000, iii £1 shaves, and to bo taken up by factories in tho proportion of one share to two tons of cheese produced. Tho following motion was carried unanimously:—" That this meeting dooms tho giving of personal guarantees to tho bank
by tho directors of the association a vicious principle, and that it bo a recommendation from the meeting that the executive circularise the factories who have not signed the promissory notes, and urge them to discharge all obligations with the association in the matter."
