TO OUR READERS. In view of the difficulty of obtaining regular and adequate sup* plies of printing paper the proprietors of the Otago Daily Times and Otago Witness some time since found it necessary to reduce the number of pages of Saturday's, Thursday's, and Wednesday's Times by two pages each day; and it has also become necessary to reduce the number of pages of the Otago Witness. As a further means of effecting economy in the use of paper, the proprietors have made a change in the system of allowing newsagents to return unsold copies. This arrangement has been cancelled, and casual readers of the papers are aslted to assist the newsagents and the company by giving deflnite orders for the regular supply of the Times and Witness, so that the number of copies required by the newsagents may be more readily gauged.
