OTTAWA, June 16. The Presbyterian Assembly in Canada, by 406 votes to 88, decided to enter tho Organic Union of the Methodists and Congregationalists. Dr Clark (of Montreal) declared that Presbyterianism stood to lose little or nothing'it valued The change would be a welcome sign to tho entire religious world. He especially welcomed foreign missionaries. Dr M'Kinnon (of ReginaJ said tho change was the only solution for many moral, social, and religious problems of tho ago, which were the result of partial paralysis arising from the need of men and money. Dr Cameron, a widely-esteemed veteran, recorded, with 45 ministers and 93 elders, their dissent. They declared that henceforth they must regard themselves as the true Presbyterian General Assembly.
