OKAHUKURA TUNNEL STRIKE.

TAXJMARUNXJI, May 13. Stephen Barbridge, the Austrian foreman who discharged tho man Cox from tho Okalmkura tunnei works, thus causing a strike, to-day telegraphed his resignation to Mr Dillon, the contractor. Barlvridgo also wired the secretary of the Workers' Union i "Being an Austrian .subject, through no fault of my own, and having the Interest of tho men at heart, I have terminated my employment." May 13. The men resumed work at the Okalmkura tunnel works to-day.
