WHEAT AND OATS.
Tho monthly abstract of statistics issued last week states that the return of actual thrashings received to date (April 14) from thrashing mill owners show that during the months of January, February, and March 4633.334 bushels of wheat and 3,323.864 bushels of oats wero thrashed out. The average yield per acre in cases where particulars of areas were furnished work out at 20.84 bushels for wheat and 33.66 bushels
! for oats. If the average yield of wheat . shown above (20.84 bushels) be applied over ! tho whole Dominion, the total yield of i wheat for the season would appear to be ; nearly seven million bushels, or somewhat ! in excess of last season's total.
