AMALGAMATION CANDIDATES RETURNED Tho election for the filling' of three vacancies on tho Duncdin Drainage and Sewerage Board was decided on the 11th, when tho polling resulted in the return of Messrs. H. H. S. White, J. B. Shaddock, and J. Small. Mr Douglas, tho chairman of the board, met with a poor response on the part of those recording their votes —a fact that points clearly to the public considering that tho time has come when tho drainage and sewerage system should come entirely under the management of tho City Council.
