PRESIDENT POINCAIRE'S VISIT TO THE VERDUN SECTOR. On the return of President Poincaire. the French Cabinet Council passed a unanimous vote requesting General Joffre to convey the congratulations of the Government to the troops for the heroic courage they displayed in repelling the first shock of the German atta-ck at Verdun.
