EDWARDS.—On August 28, 1915, killed in action at the Dardanelles, Sergeant James Edwards, third son of James and Ann Edwards, Chambers street, North-East Valley; aged 28 years. Greater love hath no man. I than this, that a man lay down I his life for his friends. HARVEY.—On August 7, killed in action in the advance on Hill 971, Bruce, the dearly beloved eldest son of Mr and Mrs Thomas Harvey, of Upper Junction, Sawyers’ Bay; aged 24 years. “ Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” MACKAY.—Died from wounds received at the Dardanelles, Kenneth Scott, youngest son of the late J. A. Mackay and Mrs S. A. Mackay, formerly of West Devonport, Tasmania, now of 47 Domain road, South Yarra, Melbourne; aged 22 years. i ROBERTSON.—On October 25, at Wellington Military Hospital, after a long illness, Hector Stuart Robertson (Trooper, Otago Mounted Rifles, Seventh Reinforcements), youngest son of Mary Catherine and Pukehiki, Otago Peninsula; aged the late William Robertson, of 20 years. Private interment. ; ROBINSON.—KiIIed in action in France, Claude Gladstone Robinson (Lieutenant 7th Battalion, South W T ales Borderers), second son of Mr and Mrs Gladstone Robinson, Timaru; aged 22 years.
