Ignorant asks : “If a limited liability company becomes insolvent, have the creditors any’ claim on the private property of the shareholders?” Answer; No. If the shareholders have fully paid up their shares, no further claim can be made against them by the creditors of tho company. Inquirer. —(l) Any person in lawful occupation of any land may fish without license or payment of fee upon such land within the period and upon the conditions allowed by regulations under “The Fisheries Act, 1908!” (2) The mileage fee under the Impounding Act is Is for every mile or fraction of a mile for any number of cattle not exceeding 25. J. C. C. asks “ Can I impound cattle on my own property and advertise them and sell them by auction without taking them to tire nearest pound?” Answer: No. Subscriber. —You can, of course, obtain a rent for the use of your own land. New Chum asks: “If a man signs a promissory note to pay me a sum of money by a certain date and does not do so, can I sue for the payment of the money owing?” Answer: Certainly. Inquirer. —lf in turning the creek back to its former course, injury is clone to the tenant’s crops, the landlord would be liable for the damage done to the crop. Perplexed.— (l) One month’s notice. (2) If the case is settled out of court, you will require to make your own bargain with tho landlord. (3) If the court orders you to pay the landlord’s costs you will require to pay them, but not otherwise.
