BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCHES.
CAPTAIN A. E. WILKINSON. Captain A. E. Wilkinson (killed in action) left New Zealand with the Fifth Reinforcements. Arriving in New Zealand from England at the age of four years, ho finished his education at the Auckland Grammar School, and from that time onward took up farming. He was a well-known breeder of Jersey cattle, and was the winner of many prizes at the Franklin A. and P. Society’s and Auckland Agricultural Shows. He was an old "Volunteer and Territorial officer, and on his own application was placed on the reserve list. When war broke out he offered his services, and proceeded to the front with the Auckland Mounted Rifles. Ho was an enthusiastic Oddfellow, being Provincial Deputy Grand Master of that order
