CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOUR UNION.
BIENNIAL CONFERENCE. WELLINGTON, October 19. The dominion biennial conference of the Christian Endeavour Union was held tod—y. It was decided to arrange, if possible, a visit by Dr Clark, and also to recommend that delegates bo sent to the Canterbury, Westland, and North Otago Unions for the purpose of stimulating work in those centres. . 1 Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows: —President, the Rev. W. Shirer; vice-presidents —the Revs. A. E. Huat, , Richards, White, and Pastor Weston; sec- j votary, Mr W. Irvine 5 treasurer, Mr H. i Broofccr; executive —Sister Constance, Miss Fuller, Messrs Brabin and Duncan. ' Resolutions were adopted expressing tho [ hope that the Rev Dr F. E. Clark, founder of the union, would be restored to health, and also paying a tribute to the noble services of the members of the Christian Endeavour Societies who have enlisted with the fighting 'forces, and expressing continued loyalty to tho throne and Empire.
