COMMITTEE. _ At the monthly meeting of the D.J.C. committee the Works Committee reported that Mann and Co.’s tender had been _ accepted for the erection of a new- open-iron fence for the stand enclosure. It _ was decided to approach the Railway Traffic Manager, and arrange that passengers leaving the course early for the first train bo allowed to enter the platform and obtain seats at any time before the train started. Seven new members were elected.
