N.S. WALES WHEAT HARVEST
SYDNEY, October 16. The Hon. Mr Grahame states that the New South Wales Government is arranging for the railways to issue certificates to farmers whose wheat is delivered on railway premises. The banks have consented to make advances against these certificates, and this will relieve the financial strain on the farmers. Mr Grahame stressed the fact that though the Government is guaranteeing 4s per bushel it will not pay the difference between that and the ruling price. It will pay the guaranteed price, provided notice is given before December 1, when the Government will take over and handle all wheat.
