LANDING AT SALONIKA.
PRESERVING COMMUNICATIONS. LONDON, October 11. Telegrams from Salonika state that already 30.000 allied troops have been landed, and are being used to ensure the communications from Salonika to Serbia being kept open. Italy is now co-operating in the transport and landing of troops, and is likely to take an active part in the Balkan expedition. AMSTERDAM, October 11. The Frankfurter Zeitung states that the Allies are preparing to land troops at Dedeagatch, and that Russia is also preparing to attack Ruler aria. BUCHAREST, October 11. It is reported that the Grand Duke Nicholas is going to Nish to take supreme command in tire Balkans.
