THE ZEPPELIN RAID.

LONDON, October 15. The Germans claim that their airships lavishly bombed the docks, waterworks, and important establishments in London and at Woolwich, and the batteries at Ipswich, causing big fires and explosions. Despite a vigorous attack, all the airships returned undamaged. BERLIN, October 15. Official : Our naval airships encountered vigorous counter-action when they reached the English coast. They dropped incendiary and explosive bombs on the City of London, which sustained several attacks. DETAILS OF FATALITIES. LONDON, October 17. A number of inquests were held on victims of the Zeppelin raid. Out of 10 ir one court, it was found that five had died from heart failure and shock, similar to cases elsewhere. One woman heard guns, and clasped her husband’s hand. He said : “Never mind, we’ll die together” ; but the wife was dead from shock. One woman fell downstairs with fright and was killed. Seventeen bombs were dropped in another district. Five persons were killed, four mortally wounded, and tw r o died from shock. Three boys who were sleeping together were killed. In another cas-» father, mother, and daughter were buried in the wreckage of their house. Elsewhere a youth ran out and was fatally wounded, while a friend who remained behind was unhurt. ONE ZEPPELIN MAIMED. ROTTERDAM, October 15. Several Zeppelins were observed yesterday flying in a south-easterly direction. One of them was evidently maimed, flying low with jerky movements at eccentric angles. Dutch guards fired on it, and it disappeared towards the German frontier in great distress,
