D.L.F. ROLL OF HONOUR.
In the illustrated portion of this issue will bo found a photograph of an old B.L.h. who has been wounded and now gent to England. This is “The Rare Old Bird” (Trooper \V. J Wish, Otago Mounted Rifles), who, it will be remembered, sent a letter to the page some time ago recounting his experiences. The Rare Old Bird is a son of Mr John Welsh, Hull street, Oamaru, and was born and educated in Oamaru, afterwards followmg farming pursuits in the JSakatarainea district. Another brother has been wounded, while a third is at present at the Dardanelles.
