All except two have been at the front. All have sufficiently recovered to be able to proceed to their homes oh extended leave. Mr Russell), stated co-day that the next draft of invalided men would oe de-alt with on the lines that had been devised previously. Tiro men who required hospital treatment would ho sent where possi.de to the hospital nearest their homes, proviaed that the equipment ujld steft wero suited to their requirements. The othei men would bo sent to the convalescent stations at Rotorua and ITanmer. i. he convalescent station at Rotorua would shortly bo capable of taking 70 men, who would be accommodated at the sanatorium. The work of erecting the neighbouring convalescent camp was being proceeded with as rapidly as possible.
