WEST TAIERI PATRIOTIC ASSOCIATION.
The meetings of the West Taieri branch of the Women’s Patriotic Association continue to bo well attended, and the members have pleasure in forwarding another parcel of comforts for the soldiers, consisting of 55 pairs socks, 8 pairs cuffs, 14 balaclavas, 28 washbags, 30 housewives, 18 handkerchiefs, and 1 scarf. During the month donations of cash amounting to £ll 10s have been thankfully received for the purchase of materials to continue the work.
