HOPWOOD.—On December 7 (suddenly), at her mother’s residence, Ada, beloved wife of *H. Hopwood, Ashburton, and daughter of Mrs M. A. Cole, 20 Baker street, Oaversham. M‘DAREN.—On December 7, 1914, at his residence, 7 Isl.ngton street, North-East Valley, John J. M‘Laren (commercial traveller), the beloved husband of Susan M'Laren ; aged 56 years.
