A man’s coat should be laid perfectly flat with the wrong side down. The *teeves should be spread out smoothly, Bnd then folded back to the elbow until i »ach end of the sleeve is even with the collar. Fold the revers back and then flouble the coat over, folding it directly in the centre seam and smoothing it out Mkrefully.
When cleaning the kitchen stove, wipe it over with a rag dipped in turpentine before applying the blacklead. This removes all grease, and makes the stove so easy to polish. Knives can be cleaned in half the usual time if the knife-board be thoroughly warmed in front of the fire before being used.
