AUCKLAND, December 2. The Governor arrived at Auckland yesterday, and returned to Wellington by the mid-day express to-day. His Excellency visited the Maori camp at Avondale, a nd addressed a few words to the men. He expressed himself as very pleased with all he saw. WELLINGTON, December 2. Their Excellencies the Governor and the Countess of Liverpool have arranged to leave Wellington on December 18 in order to visit Gisborne. They will leave Gisborne on the evening of December 20_ for Wellington, and will proceed on the night of December 21 to Christchurch. They will make an extended tour of the South Island.
