Great strides forward are being made in Wellington by the Royal Life Saving Society (says the Post). At a meeting ol the executive of the centre on Wednesday, the 2nd, the chairman gave some indication of tliis when ho stated that at the end of the pr. sent month 600 caudtuat s for the society’s awards would be undergoing a course of training. i'hc instructors were being given more work than they could cope with, and several nr to volunteers willing to take classes are urgently required.
