A SYDNEY MURDER
SYDNEY, July 18. A verdict of wilful murder was recorded against David Rowlands at the inquest on Edward Dixon, a labourer, aged 24, who was found dead on the morning of Sunday, February 20, at Rose Bay, with his head frightfully battered in. The murder was from the first suspected to be the outcome of frequent quarrels between Dixon and his mate Rowlands. Rowlands was s6en in Dixon’s company on the night of the murder, since when he has disappeared, and the police are unable to trace him.
