The Senate has adopted a Bill conceding the Saturday half-holiday to Government industrial establishments. Some opposition was offered through the fear that private concerns would agitate for a similar privilege.
\ The Chamber voted £BO,OOO for representation at the San Francisco Exhibition.
The Minister of Commerce said he hoped the vexatious American Customs proceedings would be adjusted shortly.
