Armstrong, Bardsley, Carkeek, Kele■way, Ryder, Andrews, and Park have decided to accept the Board of .Control’s invitation for the South Airican tour. Worcester made 493 against Hampshire. Surrey put up 544 against Middlesex, A. Ducat contributing 102 and C. T. A. Wilkinson 135. Middlesex were dismissed for 267. Notts scored 267 against Sussex for the loss of three wickets, J. Hardstaff not out 141. June 30. Notts, with 501 for three wickets, declared the innings against Sussex closed. In their second innings the Players have compiled 143 for three wickets. July 12. The Players declared their innings closed with 6 wickets down fdr 502 runs. The Gentlemen in their second essay compiled only 151 runs, .and were thus beaten by 241 runs. N Eton defeated Harrow by four wickets in the match between those colleges.
