“JOY RIDE” EPISODE
ACCUSED AGAIN REMANDED. CHRISTCHURCH, July 11. The taxicab case was continued to-day, when Thomas Heade and James Salt were charged with administering whisky to a girl under 16. Evidence was given by constables and men who heard screams from the car in the street. The case for the prosecution has closed. The magistrate adjourned the further hearing until Monday.
