MEAT STORAGE.
PORT OF LONDON RATES. LONDON, December 1. The Hon. T. Mackenzie lias induced the Port of London Authority to abolish the system of discounts on storage rates, which are of advantage to largo meat producers, but against smaller competitors. The Authority has also reduced the rates from 22s 9d a ton to 20s 9d for the first month, and from 20s to 18s 6d for the second month.
