AWARUA DAIRY FACTORY.
The annual meeting of the Awarua Dairy Factory Company was presided over by Mr Duncan King, about 30 shareholders being present. The report submitted stated that 2.142.5531 b of milk had been received, from which 214.0021 b of cheese had been manufactured. The new season’s output has been
sold for bid' f.o.b. It Hvae resolved that during the next season milk, bo paid for by the gallon. After Mr Sawcrs had explained the advantages of a whey buttermilking plant it was unanimously resolved to install a plant at the earliest possible convenience.
