£62,000 in 10 YEARS.

A return which was submitted to the House of Representatives to-day showed that since 1902 there have been held in the dominion no fewer than 76 commissions at a total cost to the country of £62,445 10s sd.
A great nuu.ocr of the commissions wore Email in both extent and cost, and some dealing with borough matters involved the country in no charge at all.
