MACKENZIE COLLIE CLUB
A most enthusiastic committee meeting of this old-established club look place on the evening of the „9t« inst. at Burke’s Pass. No less than 13 of the 17 officials were in attendance, 40 to 50 miles having been traversed by some for the occasion. A further testimony to the enlivened interest in the club’s popularity was manifested in the practical, no less than three valuable gold and several minor medals being donated, also several money specials. The classes composing the programme proper arc to consist of ■’he usual three open events and a district maiden pull and hold. Money prizes to the value of £2O were allotted to each of the major events.
