ELTHA.M, August 13. The annual meeting of the Egmont Box Company was held here yesterday. The chairman reported a most successful year’s work, the credit balance being •03433. He also reported that they had secured bush lights over 28.000 acres at Tanrewa, thus acquiring enough timber for butter boxes and cheese crates to last the North Island for 20 to 25 years, at the output of a million cases per year. It was decided to allow dairy companies in any part of the North Island to take up shares, and it was mentioned that applieallons for shares had been received from various >ompanics in the South Island.
