Mrs Jones gave her maid a pound packet of tea. and told her she must make it last for u month. Three days before the end of the month the tea had vanished. Mistress: “I will bring in sufficient tea to last me three days, but you must do wi t hout A Next morning Mary took up her mistress s breakfast tray. Mistress pours out tea, and says crossly; “ This, surely, is not the good tea. I brought in yesterday. ’’ “ Yes, mum, - ’ replied Mary, “ but I’ve had my breakfast first.”
