GAVE ALL A FAIR TRIAL. “For years ! suffered from bronchitis, although* I tried many patent medicines and doctors’ prescriptions, giving ail a fair trial,” writes Mrs Annie Lennon, Bridge road, Drummoyno, N.S.W.. “Then 1 tried Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy, and from the first dose got relief, and kept on getting better. Sometimes in the winter I get a return of mv old complaint, but in a very mild way, for Chamberlain's Cough Remedy soon puts me right.” Sold everywhere.
The Hawke’s Bay Herald states that during his visit to Puketapu the local inspector of factories was shown a very extensive peat bog which would provide cheap fuel with great heating properties. For the purpose of testing the peat the inspector took two large lumps to Napier and tried them on a fire. The peat burnt remarkably well, sending out an intenseheat, quite equal- to coal, and lasting considerably longer than that material. This fuel could easily be cut into lumps, and would no doubt find a ready market, but afc the field is some 14 miles from Napier the cartage would probably be rather heavy.
