POLICE RAID.

AUCKLAND, July 22. The police raided premises in Wynclham street on Sunday night and seized a quantity of liquor. They took the names of 16 persons, 11 of whom said they wove boarders. It is alleged that when the police entered i he premises four men wore being served with beer, and that one man was being dragged, helplessly drunk, into another room. The premises were used as a hoarding-house.
