SHOOTING SENSATION.

WOMAN INJURED BY ITER HUSBAND. WELLINGTON, July 2S. A sensational shooting case occurred D Upper Willis street this evening, Mrs fUmuel Minifie was walking along the street when Lor husband, from whom she was separated, camo along and asked her to accompany him into a nearby shop. The woman refused, and appealed for protection to a man who was passing. Minilie thereupon pulled out a revolver, and fired at his wife. He then turned round and made his escape. It was found that the bullet had only penetrated the fleshy part of Mrs Minifie’s left arm, and the wound is not likely to be serious. She was removed to the hospital. Minifie was arrested about 9 o’clock hn an hotel.
