The Auckland Exhibition authorities are somewhat perturbed over the probable discontinuance of the P. and O. Shipping Company’s service to Auckland. It is expected that large crowds will flock to Auckland from Australia and other parts of the world at Exhibition time, and it is feared that if the lb and O. steamers cease to run the trouble in the direction of transportation will bo greatly accentuated.
