There has been (writes our London correspondent on Tune 6), a wonderful silence on the sorrows of the Sellars family since the High Commissioner’s letter in the Daily News, and that particular phase of the anti-universal service campaign seems to have died. Since the home safe system was instituted by the Post Office Savings Bank Department in May, 1911, no fewer than 5800 of the safes have been issued in the Christchurch post's! district, and their popularity has been increasing every month.
