HUDDART-PARKER PROPRIETARY.
WELLINGTON. July 16. The Huddart-Parker Proprietary announces that according to the present arrangements the Riverina will leave Sydney for Auckland on August 13 in place of the Wimmera, and will continue running in the New Zealand trade. She will run on the coast as far as Dunedin, but may probably turn round in Auckland during the press of the summer season, in which case the Victoria would be a connecting boat on the coast. The company also intend to place a boat on the New Zealand coast, in addition to the present services from Sydney, via Auckland, to Dunedin, and from Sydney, via Wellington, to Bluff, Hobart, and Melbourne. The boat for the coast will probably be the Westralia, to commence running in about two months’ time on the east coast of New Zealand.
