ANSWER TO CORRESPONDENT.
Elizabeth. —Please, please, will some of my correspondents remember to give* me ail the information they can when asking for my advice. Here is a namesake of mine who wants help on a very interesting point—the getting of a trousseau.— and she gives me absolutely nothing to go on at all. How can I tell you ‘exactly what is needed,’ my dear Elizabeth, unless you let mo know where yon are going to live after you aro married —whether in town or still in the country? Also you would have to give me some idea of how much you wish to spend, and whether you will ba making any of the things yourself. If you will enlighten me on these points, i shall be only too glad to help you; but at present I don’t know whether to recommend you to get three, six, or a dozen of everything in the way of underlincn, nor how many dresses you want.
