GREYMOUTH, May 1. The further hearing of 43 charges of the theft of machinery, took, etc., from various persone, preferred against Alfred and Oliver Robertson and Edward Wafr< son, is proceeding. The accused hav* pleaded guilty in most instances, having made statements to Inspector Norwood admitting the offences, thus enabling the police to recover many stolen article*.
