MAN BADLY INJURED. PARIS, April 29

Vedrines, who was flying from Douai to Madrid, met with a sudden wind. He volplaned 600 ft, but in attempting to avoid the telegraph wires he crashed to the ground and fell in front of a passing

train, which was stopped with difficulty. His skull is fractured, and his condition critical. FRENCH COUNT ILLED. PARIS, May 5. Count Robillard Cosnac, when aeroplaning at Antibes, encountered a strong wind, which broke the wings of his monoplane. He fell from a height of 300 ft and was killed.
